Refund Policy – Digby Dolphins Swim Team
We understand that circumstances can change, and we aim to be fair while keeping the team running smoothly. Here's how refunds and fee adjustments work:

2-Week Window
Refunds are only available within the first 2 weeks of practice.
Non-Refundable Portion
If a swimmer chooses to leave within the first 2 weeks, a refund will be issued minus the Swim NS registration fee and related processing costs. These fees cover insurance and administrative expenses that are paid upfront on your behalf.
After 2 Weeks
After the first 2 weeks, we're unfortunately unable to offer refunds unless it's an approved exceptional case (see below).
Disciplinary Withdrawals
Within First 2 Weeks
If a swimmer is asked to leave for disciplinary reasons within the first 2 weeks, a refund will be issued minus the Swim NS registration fee and related processing costs.
After 2 Weeks
After the 2-week period, we're unfortunately unable to offer refunds for the season.
Exceptional Circumstances
We want to support our swimmers and families when life happens.
Extended Time Away
If a swimmer will be away (e.g., travel), parents can email the registrar to request a pause in swim fees. These fees will be credited toward a future season.
Medical Leave
If a swimmer misses 12 or more practices due to illness or injury, and provides a doctor's note with dates, fees for that period will be waived and credited toward a future session.
